Off -Ice conditioning programs are integrated into hockey training as a means to
prepare athletes for optimal performance on the ice. The dry-land training style
focuses on the development of muscle and movement achieved through various conditioning
techniques.
Improvements in speed, agility, strength, power, and balance are the major focuses
in dry land training. These improvements translate on the ice as an overall higher
level of performance
Team Training
Team training sessions are held either outdoors or inside gymnasium facilities, depending
on the season. The group experience encourages the athletes to work side-by-side
with their teammates in off-ice activities. Athletes will receive constant supervision
by a certified trainer and a limit of 15 athletes is permitted at each session.
Team workout $130 for up to 15 players
Private training is offered to all athletes and is open to parents and friends as
well.
Sessions for athletes focus on hockey specific conditioning in an intensified one-on-one
experience. The athlete is put through rigorous training that focuses on their specific
needs and goals. The personalized approach encourages improvements in each individual’s
strengths and weaknesses.
For non-athlete members, the personal training experience will begin with a fitness
assessment at which point a proper program may be designed to meet the client’s goals.
The development of each client is unique and focuses on their needs and fitness level.
All prescribed programs will be broken down into conditioning phases and followed
accordingly. All aspects of the program will be thoroughly explained to the client
throughout the training sessions
